Posted On January 10, 2013
Henry’s world collapses when she must finally bare all and tell the truth about her life.
A vegan, Bach loving, flower farming woman living as a man is confronted by her estranged daughter with the knowledge she knows her father is actually a women. Not the kind of “man” to be cornered, Henry does her best to weasel out of the situation. But with truth being the better part of valor, she breaks down divulging the story of her daughter’s conception via rape and the subsequent heroic adventure which became the driving force behind she and her best friend falling in love and raising the child as husband and wife in the segregated aristocratic world of 1970’s New Zealand.
